PICK UP A JERSEY AT AUCTION THIS WEEKEND

Fans will have a couple of opportunities to purchase a 2005-2006 RiverKings game-worn jersey this weekend. Following Saturday's game, a live auction of this season's Miller Lite warm-up jerseys will take place. The proceeds will go to the Gulf Coast Community Foundation to help the Biloxi Gulf Coast Youth Hockey Association get back on their feet after being affected by Hurricane Katrina. The jerseys feature a "Katrina Relief Patch" with the logos of the pro hockey teams in Mississippi; the RiverKings and the Mississippi Sea Wolves. There will also be a silent auction at the merchandise stand behind Section 107 that will start at Friday's game and end right after the live auction on Saturday. One game-worn jersey from each player will be available through the silent auction. The proceeds from the silent auction will go to the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi. The RiverKings are also planning to put more game-worn jerseys on Ebay in the months following the season.

MERCHANDISE DEALS FOR FINAL WEEKEND

The RiverKings' merchandise stands at the DCC will have all in-stock tee shirts, sweatshirts, hats and jerseys at buy two get one free. The free item must be of equal or lesser value to the other two items. The sale does not include novelty items and no other discounts apply to this sale. This sale will be Friday and Saturday night while inventory lasts.

RIVERKINGS HERE AND THERE

RiverKings defenseman Kevin Harris played in his first game since 2/4 Tuesday night after being activated from the 45-day IR before the game.
