RiverKings Tackle Mavericks Again Tonight

INDEPENDENCE, MO --- Your home-town hockey team is back in action tonight in Missouri, meeting the Mavericks in Independence, just outside Kansas City. Game time tonight is 7:05 PM and Bob Bakken, your Voice of the RiverKings, will have the call at 6:50 PM on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM and on CHL-TV.

Mississippi will be looking to win in coach Killer Kaminski's 100th game as RiverKings coach. Through 99 previous games, Kaminski has a 61-31-7 record in the Mid-South.

A couple of things not to forget for the next couple of weeks.

Tuesday, January 19th, a group of RiverKings players will make an appearance at Windy City Grille in Hernando. Hours are from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Players will be available to meet and chat with fans, and sign autographs. On Saturday, January 23rd, a pre-game party prior to the RiverKings home game against the Missouri Mavericks will take place at the Southaven Buffalo Wild Wings, 7188 Airways Blvd., north of Goodman Road. Hours are from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. The event is hosted by Wild Bill of 95.3 FM The Rebel Radio. Those who attend will be have the chance to win prizes and tickets to that evening's RiverKings game against the Mavericks, which begins at 7:05 PM.
