Of the 19 players on the roster, nine of them played at least one game for the RiverKings last season. Eleven of them came from Canada, with six more from the United States and one each from Slovakia and Finland.

Following practice tomorrow and a short skate Friday morning, the RiverKings will open their season at home on Friday night at 7:05 against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Team staff that night will give away magnetic schedules for the season, and all teachers and faculty can use coupons to get tickets to this game for just five dollars.
