Catching up with Bill Newson
Where are you living now?
I am currently living in Burbank, California, with my wife and we are expecting our first child at the end of the year.
Do you get to play for fun at all?
No, I have not played since my last game on March 18th. I'm still getting used to life without hockey; not too much time with a family on the way.
What was life like for you as a Killer Bee?
It was a very enjoyable time, the organization is the best and the relationships I developed during my time as a Killer Bee are ones I will have for life.
Are you looking forward to visiting the Valley?
I am looking forward to visiting the Valley and all those friends I have not seen in a very long time, also introducing everyone to my wife and family.
What was your most memorable moment here?
There are too many to count, but the most memorable one would have to be the first season and all the success we achieved in that season.
