THE MATCH UP

The RiverKings play the first of seven straight on the road tonight. Tonight's game is game five of the 11 game season series between the RiverKings and Mudbugs, the second in Bossier City. Memphis has gone 3-0-1 in the first four games, winning the first three before Bossier-Shreveport pulled out an overtime win at the DCC on 12/9. The RiverKings enter the game tonight on a four game winning streak and with the best road record in the CHL at 5-1-0. The RiverKings are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games and lead the Northeast Division by four points over Youngstown. The Mudbugs are tied with Tulsa for fourth in the division, trailing the front-running RiverKings by 11 points. The Mudbugs have played just one game since that OT game at the DCC on 12/9, while the RiverKings have played and won four. The Mudbugs lost all-star goalie Ken Carroll for possibly eight weeks to a knee injury earlier this week and signed rookie goalie Adam Hanna to backup new number one John DeCaro. The RiverKings are 32-24-5 in the all-time series, 13-13-2 at Bossier-Shreveport' CenturyTel Center.
