ROCKFORD, Ill. â The field is dry, the game is on, and fans at tonight's Rockford RiverHawks home finale will get some great prizes at the gate.
In tonight's 7:05 p.m. Marinelli Field finale, the playoff-bound RiverHawks host the Gateway Grizzlies in a postseason preview.
As part of Fan Appreciation Night, the first 1,000 fans through the gate will get a great Best of the RiverHawks gift pack, stuffed with some of this year's favorite giveaway items: T-shirts, team photo magnets and travel mugs. In addition, random fans will get prizes throughout the game.
After the game, stick around for the Postgame Fireworks Spectacular. It's all sponsored by U.S. Cellular and WREX-13.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for the finale regular-season game at Marinelli Field. The RiverHawks move into their new stadium next spring.
All games are broadcasted live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 â the Hub and at the team website. The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 12th season.
