LOVES PARK, Ill. - Devin Shepherd is back in the Rockford RiverHawks' lineup.
The RiverHawks activated the designated hitter/outfielder from the disabled list on Tuesday. They released infielder Daniel Gonzalez and outfielder Steve Anderson.
Shepherd was 0-for-3 on Tuesday in the RiverHawks' 3-0 loss at Washington. He is hitting .277 with a home run and 11 RBI.
Gonzalez hit .268 with no home runs and four RBI in 34 games. Anderson hit .171 with no home runs and four RBI in 15 games.
