
RiverHawks activate Balteff, release Dulkowski

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks announced following Thursday's game that they have activated pitcher Shawn Balteff from the 14-day disabled list and released pitcher Marc Dulkowski.
Balteff had been out for two weeks with a strained oblique muscle. He is 1-1 with a save and a 2.25 ERA in seven appearances.
Dulkowski, who returned from a three-year retirement last month, was 0-1 with a 7.84 ERA in 11 appearances.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 16th season this summer.
