
RiverHawks activate Anderson, release Brammer

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks have activated pitcher Nick Anderson and will start him in Tuesday's home game.
The rookie right-hander had been on the DL since Aug. 3 because of a back injury. Anderson is 0-2 with a 3.52 ERA in three starts. He will face Florence at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
The RiverHawks made room on the roster with the release of pitcher Dylan Brammer. The rookie had no record and a 6.48 ERA in seven appearances. The team made both moves Monday before the Frontier League roster deadline.
