Richmond RiverDogs News Release
An early goal from David Brosseau at 0:36 and a 2-0 lead was wiped out as the Adirondack Frostbite scored seven straight in the RiverDogs 7-2 loss at the Glen Falls Civic Center. Kris Waltz got the other goal for Richmond. The game marked the RiverDogs debut of Center Joey Bastien and "Bass" contributed in his first shift with the side as he assisted in Brosseau's goal. Mike D'Alessandro was in nets for the RiverDogs.

John DiPace got the RiverDogs on the board midway through the first period to give Richmond a 1-0 lead but the Adirondack Frostbite scored four straight as the Dogs lose 4-1. The Dogs were 1-6 on the power play however they gave up three to Adirondack on eight chances. The RiverDogs were outshot 44-23.
November 19, 2005
In front of a season high crowd of 7,412, the RiverDogs treated the hometown faithful to a dandy of a match in the team's 3-2 victory over the Elmira Jackals. Elmira got on the board first before a pair of power play markers from Dan Vandermeer and David Brosseau gave Richmond a 2-1 lead. Elmira went ahead midway in the third period before Jason Cassells put the RiverDogs ahead for good with a goal at 16:56. Mike D'Alessandro picked up the win for the RiverDogs. Richmond allowed a season low 28 shots in the game and was 2-7 on the power play.
November 20, 2005
The RiverDogs and Jackals met again for the second straight game and battled tooth and nail with Richmond getting the victory in a shootout 4-3 in front of 3,117. Richmond got goals from John DiPace and Jason Cassells to put the RiverDogs ahead 2-0. Elmira fought back and tied the game at 2-2 going into the third period. David Brosseau scored a power play early in the 3rd period before Chaput of Elmira scored to tie the game as regulation came to a close. Richmond outscored Elmira 2-1 in the shootout, getting goals from Mike Oliveira and David Brosseau. Doug Groenestege got his first professional victory.
THE WEEK AHEAD:
The RiverDogs play four games this week, beginning with a home and home series against the Danbury Trashers with the two teams playing in Danbury on Wednesday, November 23 and then returning for the re-match at the Richmond Coliseum on Friday, November 25 at 7:35 pm. On Saturday, November 26, Richmond face inner-state rival Roanoke Valley at 7:35 pm.
The two teams will face each other in Roanoke Valley on Sunday. Friday night's game against Danbury is Richmond Times-Dispatch Family 4 Pack Night. Families of 4 will get a special package which includes tickets, hot dogs, sodas and coupons from Chipolte, G-Force Racing, Skate Passes at Skate Nation Plus, smoothie coupons from Tropical Smoothie and 4 free weeks of the Richmond Times-Dispatch with every new subscription. Saturday night is PACK THE POUND night with all upper bowl tickets going for $6.00. Fans entering the turnstyles will get free Chapsticks, courtesy of Wyeth. Fans leaving the Coliseum will receive Fox Socks. Fans will take these socks and fill them up with goodies and return them on the December 2 home game against Adirondack. The socks will be distributed to needy families in Richmond and surrounding areas.
