Generals Acquire New Players
The Generals added Robin Richards to their line up Monday. Richards was traded by the Motor City Mechanics to The Flint Generals for right wing George Cantrall. Richards, is a 6-4, 215 pound Left Wing Born, March 31 1985, from Winnipeg, Manitoba Richards and is sure to bring toughness as well as offense to the Flint Lineup.
Game Summaries
November 18th Flint Generals 2 - Port Huron 3 SOL
The Generals traveled to Port Huron in a division match up at Mcmorran Arena. The puck dropped at 7:35 p.m. The generals were first to score in the match when Leo Thomas scored from John Glavota and Kam White at 4:23 of the first period. Port Huron's Mehalko answered back seconds later with an unassisted goal at 4:54 of the first. Port Huron's Dix scored for the Flags again at the 7:39 mark of the first. Flint tied the game with a goal by Leo Thomas from Hutt and merchant at 4:15 of the second period. This ended the scoring as no goals were scored by either team in regulation. Attempts for the Generals in the shootout were made by Laniel, Foremsky, Marchant, Thomas and Elich. Terry Marchant was the only general to score. Port Huron's Brand and Markham both were successful in putting the puck through the uprights giving Port Huron the shoot out win.
November 19th 2005 Flint Generals 7 - Missouri 3
The Generals came on to the ice on fire against the Missouri River Otters Saturday at the Perani sports and Event Center. Flints Selleke, Thomas and Laniel all scored in the first. Selleke from Thomas and Cavanagh at 5:46. Thomas from Selleke and Elich at 6:43 and Laniel from Cavanagh and Elich gave the generals an early lead. Missouri came out strong in the second answering all three of the Generals early goals. Missouri's Horvath, Petterson and Butler worked hard to tie the game going into the third period. The Generals Stole the Momentum back in the third period with three additional goals by Flints offense. Terry Marchant scored from Laniel and Glavota at 3:01 of the third followed by Stugeon from Selleke and Elich at12:04 gave the Generals a commanding 2 goal lead late in the third. Fabien Laniel scored an empty net goal giving him his first hat trick of the season at 19:22 of the final period. Laniel was assisted by Marchant and goaltender Brady who made 24 saves in the contest.

11/23 - WEDNESDAY - $2 Beers and Turkey Bowling - The Generals play host to the Kalamazoo Wings on Wednesday November 23rd in a pre Thanksgiving match don't miss this one it is sure to be a great game. On ice intermission will also be memorable with the annual turkey bowling competition. and 2 buck beers. Puck drops at 7:05
11/25 - FRIDAY - KEVIN KERR'S JERSEY RETIRED - Friday, November 25th against The Motor City Mechanics. 7:35pm at Perani Arena & Event Center. Kevin Kerr will become the fifth player in franchise history to have his number retired, joining Bob Perani's #1, Brett MacDonald's #77, Doug Manchek's #16 and Stephan Brochu's #5
TRANSACTIONS: Rookie Forward Robin Richards was acquired from the Motor City Mechanics in a trade for former General George Cantrall.
