CHARLESTON, SC - Due to the recent rain in the Lowcountry, Wednesday night's Spotlight Game in Ladson has been postponed.

The club is working with organizers to reschedule the event where the RiverDogs take their show on the road. Popular mascot Charlie T. RiverDog, public address announcer Ken Carrington and the rest of the RiverDogs' staff treat the youth game as if it was a RiverDogs home game. The game is a special exhibition matchup between two coach-pitch teams comprised of 7, 8 and 9-year-olds from the community.

Though the game was postponed, the competing teams will still be guests of the RiverDogs on June 15 as the Class A affiliate of the New York Yankees host the Augusta GreenJackets at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.
