RiverDogs fall 4-0 to Frostbite

RICHMOND, VA - Kris Tebbs 21 saves and two point nights from Mark Hurtubise and David Moccia directed the Adirondack Frostbite to a 4-0 win over the Richmond RiverDogs before 6,906 at the Richmond Coliseum. With the loss, the RiverDogs record stands at 32-26-6, 70 points, 3rd in Eastern Division and 9th in the UHL overall standings. The RiverDogs are still in the chase for the 8th and final spot in the 2006 Colonial Cup Playoffs, trailing Quad City, who lost 3-2 in a shootout against the Flint Generals. The Mallards have 72 points but have played two more games (66) than Richmond (64).

The RiverDogs board the bus and travel to Glen Falls, NY to face the same Frostbite team tomorrow afternoon, with the puck drop at 4:05 pm. Richmond returns to the Richmond Coliseum on Wednesday, March 29th at 7:05 pm against the Roanoke Valley Vipers.
