River Otters Acquire Littlejohn From Adirondack

St. Charles, MO --- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League are proud to announce that they have acquired forward Frank Littlejohn from the Adirondack Frostbite in exchange for defenseman Bob Rapoza.

Littlejohn, 28, has spent the last five years with Adirondack. During that span he's scored 139 goals, dished out 111 assists, and piled up 1209 penalty minutes in 315 games. He's played 14 games in the American Hockey League since 2001.

"Frank can do everything," River Otters Head Coach Kevin Kaminski said. "He can hit, he can score, and he doesn't back down from anyone on the ice. He will also bring veteran leadership to our team."

Rapoza, 30, has spent the last two seasons with the River Otters. During that span he has scored 13 goals, added 50 assists, and registered 98 penalty minutes in 132 games.

The River Otters next game is Wednesday, February 9 against the Quad City Mallards at the Family Arena. The puck drops at 7:05 PM CST, and all the action can be heard on KSLQ 104.5 and the B2 Webcast and Video Simulcast, located at www.riverotters.com.
