Columbus River Dragons News Release
Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons and Delaware Thunder have made a deadline deal to swap forward Parker Moskal for defenseman Daniel DiCristofaro.
The River Dragons add depth to an already good blue line with the acquisition of DiCristofaro. In 41 games played with the Delaware Thunder he has registered 21 points (3G-18A) and was a -4 on a team with a -47 goal differential. DiCristofaro is expected to report in time for the games this weekend against the Carolina Thunderbirds.
Moskal came to the River Dragons from a previous trade made back in December with the Mentor Ice Breakers that also saw the team acquire defenseman Vaughn Clouston. As a River Dragon, Moskal registered 33 points (11G-22A) with the team.
The River Dragons take on the Carolina Thunderbirds in a home-and-home-and-home series starting Friday night in Winston-Salem. The Columbus game will be held Saturday at 6:05 with a throwback night theme featuring specialty jerseys as well as a Cottonmouths legends game at 4 P.M. prior to the game.
