River Cats to Host Job Fair at Raley Field

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats announced today that they will hold two (2) Job Fairs at Raley Field to recruit event employees for the upcoming baseball season. The Job Fairs will be held at Raley Field on February 7th and 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Between the River Cats and Centerplate (concessions), more than 350 positions are available at Raley Field. Walk-in applications will be accepted at the Job Fair -- all applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Information regarding event positions is available online at www.rivercats.com or by calling the River Cats' Job Hotline at (916) 376-4783.

The following is a partial list of positions available at Raley Field:

- Ushers - EMTs - Warehouse Workers - Concession Supervisors

- Kids Corner Attendants - Crowd Managers - Building Security - Stand Workers

- Parking Attendants - Grounds Crew - Internships - Culinary Workers

- Ticket Office - Raley Field Clean Team - Promotions Crew - In-Seat Servers

- Suites & Catering - Parking Cashiers - Merlino's Employees - On-Deck Shop Attendants

The River Cats open their 2009 season and defense of their back-to-back PCL and Triple-A Baseball championships on Thursday, April 9th when they host the Tacoma Rainiers (Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners) at Raley Field at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for this game are currently available only through purchase of River Cats Full Season Tickets, Mini Plans and group packages. 2009 River Cats Season Tickets, Mini Plans and group outings can be purchased at the Raley Field Ticket Office and by calling the River Cats Ticket Hotline at (916) 371-HITS (4487).
