AMARILLO, Texas - The Riders fell 9-1 against Amarillo in Thursday's series opener against the Sod Poodles.
SYNOPSIS
* Tony Sanchez provided the lone Riders run with an RBI single in the ninth.
* After the Riders just missed a run-scoring opportunity in the third, Amarillo scored four in the bottom of the frame and never looked back.
* Charles Leblanc singled in the third, extending his hitting streak to nine games.

* Brendon Davis: 1-for-2, 2 BB
