Riders Tackle Linebacker with Third Round Pick

Head coach Danny Barrett is pleased to announce the Saskatchewan Roughriders have used their first draft selection (23rd overall) to select linebacker Mike McCullough from St. Francis Xavier.

McCullough had a stellar senior season where he was named an AUFC defensive all-star. The 23-year old picked up 45 defensive tackles, which was good for 5th spot in the AUFC. McCullough was second in the AUFC with five quarterback sacks and was 1st in the AUFC with 12 tackles for losses.
