
Riders sign Canadain receiver

Saskatchewan Roughrider Head Coach Danny Barrett announced today the club has signed free agent receiver Ibrahim Tounkara to a one-year plus an option contract. Terms of the deal were not released.
Tounkara spent last season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he caught 25 passes for 317 yards and a touchdown in 18 regular season games. Prior to the Tiger-Cats, Tounkara spent three seasons with the Calgary Stampeders, who drafted him in 2000. In five CFL seasons, the University of Ottawa product has caught 91 passes for 1,070 yards and six touchdowns.
