
BC Lions Felions to hold 2005 dance team tryouts

VANCOUVER, B.C. March 14, 2005 â The Felions, the BC Lions Dance Team, are looking for females with dance experience, that will be at least 19 years of age and high school graduates by July 1, 2005, to tryout for the 2005 Dance Team.
Saturday April 2, will mark the first day of tryouts at the Scotiabank Dance Centre located on 677 Davie Street from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. with registration beginning at 11:00 a.m. This event is not open to the public. On April 3, 50 finalists will perform live in the Finalist Showcase at Centre Court of Coquitlam Centre from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is the final chance for the girls to show off their skills before the 2005 Felions Dance Team is chosen.
The year 2005 will be an exciting season for the Felions dance team. Not only will the Felions be the host dance team of the 2005 Grey Cup Festival's Dance Showcase, they will also be featured in a glossy 12-month, coloured calendar as a fundraising initiative.
