
Riders add two to Training Camp Roster

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that import linebacker Johnny Anderson and import receiver Brian Robinson have signed one-year plus option contracts with the club. Financial terms were not released.
Anderson originally signed with the Roughriders in 2002 and spent part of the season on the team's practice roster. The 27-year old spent two seasons at Indiana University, where he picked up over 50 defensive tackles. Anderson was also named to the All-Big Ten team in his senior year. Before transferring to Indiana, Anderson spent two years at City College in San Francisco, where he picked up MVP honours in the Golden Gate Conference.
Brian Robinson has spent the past two years as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and spent the 2004 season with the NFL Europe's Rhein Fire. The 24-year old spent four seasons at the University of Houston, where he finished among the school's top-10 in both receptions with 135 and receiving yards with 1,696.
