3 THINGS TO KNOW

Five Alive: Chris Terry is currently riding a five game point streak where he has netted four goals and six assists over that time.

Feel The Power: The IceCaps continue to thrive on the powerplay as the team went two for five (40%) on the man advantage this weekend. St.

John's currently has the fourth best powerplay in the league (first in the East) clicking at 24.8%.

Penalty Parade: The IceCaps are the most penalized team in the league as the club has racked up a total of 474 penalty minutes.

Friday, Dec. 9 STJ 6 vs SPR 5 RECAP Six different IceCaps sent pucks behind Thunderbirds netminder Mike McKenna en route to victory. After returning from Montreal Mark Barberio picked up three assists including a helper on both the tying and winning goal to propel St. John's past Springfield. Saturday, Dec. 10 SPR 2 vs STJ 1 RECAP Former St. John's IceCaps forward Chase Balisy came back to bite his old team as he scored twice in a 2-1 victory. Jacob de la Rose scored his first goal of the season late in the third but it was not enough as the IceCaps dropped their final home game of 2016.
