RHP Ricardo Pinto activated off the DL

RHP Ricardo Pinto (0-1, 3.60), a member of Chicago's 40-man roster, was activated off Charlotte's disabled list today. Pinto was promoted to the Knights from High-A Winston-Salem on April 21 and added to the team's active roster on April 23. He made one start with the Knights on April 24 and was saddled with the loss at Louisville (L, 5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 4 SO). Pinto went 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA in three starts with the Dash earlier this season (10.2 IP)... LHP Robbie Ross Jr. (0-1, 30.37) was activated off the DL today and assigned to Low-A Kannapolis today. Ross appeared in five games with the Knights this season before being placed on the team's DL on April 20 (retroactive to April 17)... LHP Colton Turner (0-1, 9.35 ERA) was placed on Charlotte's DL today (retroactive to May 16). Turner, who was promoted to Charlotte from Double-A Birmingham on April 26 (active on April 27), has appeared in six games with the Knights this season (8.2 IP).
