
RH Terance Marin Promoted from Winston-Salem

The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that C Luis Sierra has been promoted to Class AAA Charlotte. In a corresponding move RH Terance Marin has been promoted to Birmingham from Class A Winston-Salem. Roster at 25.
Marin, 25, began the season with the Dash going 0-0 with a 36.00 ERA (4 ER/1.0 IP) in two relief appearances. He was released on April 9 after his second appearance and signed with the Evansville Otters of the Independent Frontier League going 4-1 with a 2.06 ERA in six starts. He was resigned by the White Sox on June 19 and rejoined the Dash where he's gone 4-3 with a 4.22 ERA (33 ER/70.1 IP) in 14 games including 10 starts. He was originally signed by the White Sox as a free agent on July 12, 2010.
