The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that RHP Brandon Hardin has been promoted from Class A Winston-Salem. Roster at 25.
Hardin, 24, will be making his second appearance with the Barons this season having previously been on the roster from May 27 through July 31 and going 0-2 with a 5.49 ERA (12 ER/19.2 IP) in 16 appearances. In 17 relief appearances with the Dash this season he went 0-1 with a 1.65 ERA (3 ER/16.1 IP) and five saves.
