
Barons to Host Lookouts at Regions Field

Birmingham, Ala. - The Barons return to Regions Field on Sunday, August 17th to begin a five-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts the Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Barons have experienced unprecedented attendance numbers so far in 2014 having drawn a Southern League-best 387,522 fans for the first 60 regular season games of the season while posting nine sellouts.
The homestand begins at 6:00 PM CDT on Sunday with Salute To Armed Forces presented by DRASH and NAPA where the Barons will wear special camouflage uniforms as they pay tribute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Sunday is also Bark in the Park at Regions Field wherefans can bring their dogs out for a night at the ballpark. Canine admission is $2 with all proceeds benefiting the Animal League of Birmingham and Hand InPaw.
Monday's throughout the season are YP Monday's at Regions Field as the Barons take on the Lookouts at 7:05 PM CDT.
Tuesday offers the perfect opportunity to feed the whole family during 50-Cent Hot Dog Night at Regions Field presented by Kayem, Flowers Baking Co., MINI of Birmingham and WIAT 42. Tuesday is also Social Media Night at Regions Field featuring special in-game promotions centered around the Barons Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. Fans will also have the chance to see animals from the Birmingham Zoo as part of Birmingham Zoo Night.
The week continues with AAA Wednesday at Regions Field where fans can get $2 off admission by showing their AAA card. This season-long promotion is presented by AAA of Alabama.
The homestand concludes with Thirsty Thursday presented by Miller Lite, Woodbridge and Buffalo Wild Wings where fans can enjoy 16 oz. beverages including select beer, wine and soda for just $2! There will be a special pre-game concert in the Courtyard featuring "ËTrouble The Waters' starting at 5:30 PM presented by Birmingham Mountain Radio and Tin Roof. Thursday is also Parrot Head Night at Regions Field featuring a Shrimp Boil presented by Cajun Steamer. For just $10 fans can get a plate of shrimp, jambalaya and red beans!
