RGV FC Reveals New USL Championship Schedule

Rio Grande Valley FC Toros News Release
EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC will return to competitive action on July 11 as they face El Paso Locomotive FC on the road at 8:30 p.m. CT. The USL Championship season will resume after being postponed due to COVID-19.
As previously announced, the Toros, San Antonio FC, Austin Bold FC, FC Tulsa and OKC Energy FC will be competing in Group D of the Championship 2020 season. Therefore, RGV FC will have a 15-game regular season schedule with 13 games being from within the group and remaining two games will be played against teams that fall within a similar geographic region.
*The Toros opened the 2020 USL Championship season earlier this year at H-E-B Park, which is counted for in the 16-game schedule.
Being in Group D, RGV FC will play the four fellow members three to four times. The Toros will kick off the season, again, on the road against Copa Tejas rival, the Locomotive. The club will return to H-E-B Park on Friday, July 17 as they host San Antonio FC. RGV FC will finish the month of July on the road as they head to OKC and finish off at SAFC.
The month of August will be an eventful one for the Toros as they host FC Tulsa on Saturday, August 1 at H-E-B Park. The squad will head up north to face Austin Bold FC on Saturday, August 8. The Toros will return home for the last two weekends of the month to host both Austin and SAFC.
September kicks off on the road for the Toros in a two-road game series, but return home for two home games. They will then head to New Mexico United for their last road trip of the regular season. RGV FC will host the Energy on Saturday, October 3 for their last home stand.
