Philadelphia Union II Announce Updated 2020 Regular-Season Schedule

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union ll, in conjunction with USL Championship, have announced the club's updated 2020 regular-season schedule. The club is slated to resume the season at home with a Keystone State rivalry match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on July 18.

USL Championship recently announced an updated format for the remainder of the 2020 season that will see clubs divided into eight groups, with each team playing 16 regular-season matches. The top two teams in each group will advance to a single elimination playoff.

Union II will be competing in Group F that features rivals Pittsburgh Riverhounds and New York Red Bulls II, as well as Loudoun United FC and Hartford Athletic. The club is also scheduled to play two matches outside of Group F with a road trip south to take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies on September 5, and hosting Atlanta United FC 2 at Subaru Park on Tuesday, September 29.

With one match already played in 2020, a 0-0 draw vs. Loudoun FC, Union II will play 15 total matches, including seven home games at Subaru Park.
