Revs Return Home, Face United

New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Finally home for an extended stretch after playing six of its first nine games on the road, the New England Revolution will look to snap a six-game winless skid when the club hosts its bitter rival, D.C. United, on Saturday, May 30, at Gillette Stadium. The game will be televised live on TV38 beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET, while the WEEI Radio Network will also carry the action.
New England (2-3-4, 10 pts.) hasn't won since its home opener on April 4, when the Revs came from behind to earn a 2-1 win over FC Dallas. D.C. United (3-1-7, 16 pts.), on the other hand, is on a completely different path, having gone nine games unbeaten (4-0-5) in all competitions since playing to a draw with the Revolution at RFK Stadium on April 17. History says that the result could come down to the flip of a coin, as the Revs and United are 5-5-5 against each other in the last 15 regular-season meetings dating back to the beginning of the 2005 season.
Saturday night's match will conclude the 2009 regular-season series between New England and D.C., marking the first season series to conclude for the Revs this year. United midfielder Ben Olsen - who is expected to be unavailable for Saturday night's match with a hamstring strain - scored in stoppage time in the first meeting on April 17 at RFK Stadium to force a 1-1 draw.
