New England Revolution News Release

CHESTER, Pa. - The New England Revolution (6-6-7; 25 pts.) will visit the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night at Subaru Park. Saturday's match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET with Brad Feldman and Charlie Davies calling the action on WSBK-TV38, myRITV (Rhode Island) and Cozi TV (Western Mass.). The contest also airs locally on the radio via 98.5 The Sports Hub and 1260 AM Nossa Radio in Portuguese.

The Revolution are 2-0-2 in their last four meetings with their I-95 rivals, including a 1-1 draw in the teams' most recent encounter on May 28 in Foxborough. Forward Gustavo Bou netted the Revolution's lone goal in the 75th minute of that match, his first tally of the season. That marked the beginning of an epic run of form for the Argentinian, as Bou has now logged six goals in seven games since May 28. Bou's next goal will give him a share of the team lead this season.

As they visit the current Eastern Conference-leading Union, New England is looking to move on from a wild defeat at New York City FC, 4-2, last Saturday. The Revolution will be without defender Andrew Farrell in Philadelphia after he was issued a red card in that contest. Despite the defeat, New England remains one of the most dangerous away teams in MLS, having scored multiple goals in seven of nine road games thus far in 2022. Meanwhile, the Union are unbeaten at Subaru Park, 5-0-5, and have yet to concede more than one goal in any home game this season.

Earlier this week, Revolution midfielder Carles Gil was voted a 2022 MLS All Star, his second consecutive selection. Gil logged two assists last Saturday to give him 10 helpers on the season, tied for the league lead. Sebastian Lletget and DeJuan Jones both notched primary assists on Bou's goals in New York, giving them each five on the season. Jones' next assist will tie a Revolution club record for helpers by a defender (6).
