New York City FC News Release
New York, N.Y. - New York City Football Club (NYCFC) is proud to announce Baron® Rings as the Official 2021 MLS Cup Championship Ring Partner. At the end of 2021, NYCFC took home the MLS Cup in the Club's first ever appearance, becoming the first professional sports franchise based in New York to win a championship in a decade.
Championship rings will be awarded to the players and staff who helped make last year's championship season possible. Baron® is also producing replica championship rings for City Members that renew or sign up for the 2023 season. NOTE: City Members will receive an email about how to get their replica ring in the coming days.
NYCFC CEO, Brad Sims, commented: "Baron's® reputation as the industry leader in Championship rings and jewelry is unparalleled. Winning the MLS Cup was an incredible moment for our players and the entire Club, and we wanted to partner with an organization whose quality would match the importance of this achievement."
President of Baron®, Peter Kanis, continued: "Baron® is honored to support NYCFC and we couldn't be more excited to be working with them to create their commemorative collections. MLS has been an extremely important part of our portfolio, and we believe our strong foundation and ever-progressive design and manufacturing capabilities will continue to make an impact in the Championship Ring market."
The Championship and Replica Ring designs will be unveiled later this month along with other merchandise made available by Baron® at NYCFCFANS.BARONRINGS.COM.
