CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The New England Revolution are in North Carolina to visit 2022 MLS Expansion side Charlotte FC on Saturday night at Bank of America Stadium. The first-ever match between the two clubs kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET and airs on WSBK-TV38, myRITV, Cozi TV, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and 1260 AM Nossa Radio in Portuguese.

New England returns to MLS action as the team concludes a hectic stretch of five games in a 15-day span leading into the upcoming March international break. The Revolution, on the road for the second time in the 2022 MLS campaign, own an 18-9-11 away record since Bruce Arena joined the club in 2019. New England is unbeaten in 16 straight away games, 13-0-3, when scoring first dating back to the 2020 season opener.

Midfielder Emmanuel Boateng and forward Jozy Altidore delivered goals in New England's last MLS match, a 3-2 loss to Real Salt Lake last Saturday. Altidore, whose goal was his first in a Revolution uniform and his 198th all-time for club and country, has appeared in all five games across all competitions since joining New England. Adam Buksa supplied both assists in the match against RSL, while Carles Gil continues to catalyze the attack in his fourth MLS campaign with one goal and three assists in four overall starts to begin the year.

Charlotte, the Revolution's first Eastern Conference opponent of 2022, enters Saturday's match 0-3-0 and in search of its first MLS point. The league's newest club fell to Atlanta United, 2-1, its last time out, with defender Adam Armour scoring the first goal in the club's history. Saturday's contest marks the second home game of the season for CFC. New England, one of Major League Soccer's original clubs, owns a 16-14-12 all-time record against MLS expansion teams in their debut season.

Following Saturday's contest, New England will enter a two-week international break as World Cup Qualifiers continue. The Revolution will return on Saturday, April 2 for a home meeting with the New York Red Bulls at Gillette Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET)
