LA Galaxy News Release

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy today announced a second skateboard deck collaboration with DGK, which will go on sale to the public exclusively at the LA Galaxy Foundation booth at Dignity Health Sports Park for the match against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 19. The 'Community' deck will be limited to 300 units and will be on sale for $85, with proceeds benefiting the LA Galaxy Foundation and DGK's Saved by Skateboarding foundation.

"Our fans have spoken, following the resounding success and sellout of the 'Locally Known, Globally Known' deck," said Doug Vosik, Chief Marketing Officer for the LA Galaxy. "The Galaxy are proud to announce another collaboration alongside DGK with all proceeds going back to our community."

Continuing a collaboration between two local brands of sports culture in Los Angeles, DGK is launching a unique deck that pays homage to the LA Galaxy and their Community Kit. The LA Galaxy and DGK brought out Carson High School men's soccer team to Dignity Health Sports Park and provided them with tickets to the March 19 match against Orlando City SC, and handed out DGK skateboards, soccer balls and scarves. Keen Ramps from Long Beach provided obstacles for the Carson High Schoolers to skate, while Pro-Tec Brand from San Diego distributed safety equipment to the participants.

"This new drop shows DGK and the Galaxy's commitment to culture," said Troy Morgan, Co-Founder of DGK. "Giving these tools to the kids and helping foster the next generation of soccer players a skaters is perfectly aligned with our mutual core pillars of community building."

The LA Galaxy continue league play by hosting Orlando City SC at Dignity Health Sports Park (12:30 p.m. PT; Univison, TUDN) on Saturday, March 19.
