Bridgewater, NJ - The York Revolution (27-20, 51-66) defeated the Somerset Patriots (25-23, 75-43) 10-6 Friday evening at TD Bank Ballpark.

In the top of the third inning York plated three runs to grab a 3-0 lead. Second baseman Eric Patterson ripped a two RBI single and right fielder Yeicok Calderson blooped a RBI single.

Somerset answered with four runs in the ensuing half inning to make the score 4-3. Designated hitter Thomas Neal recorded a RBI sacrifice fly while right fielder Mike Wilson hammered a three run home run (2).

The Patriots added a run in the bottom of the fourth inning as second baseman Nate Spears scored on a wild pitch hurled by Cody Scarpetta as the lead increased to 5-3.

York rallied to even contest at 5-5 in the top of the fifth inning. Pitch R.J. Seidel committed a throwing error that led to a run while an additional run scored when second baseman Eric Patterson banged into a double play.

In the top of the eighth inning York scored five times to catapult in front 10-5. Pinch hitter Brandon Boggs and shortstop Mikey Reynolds each socked two RBI doubles while another run scored on a fielding error by Jonny Tucker.

An error was committed by center fielder Jose Constana that led to a Somerset run in the bottom of the 9th inning. The score became 10-6 which would be the final.

Tony Pena earned the win (2-2). Anthony Collazo suffered the loss (3-3).
