
Revolution Hosts College Night for Local Students on October 4

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - With school back in session and thousands of college students returning to the area, the New England Revolution are throwing the ultimate College Night at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, October 4. The party will include a special pregame, college-themed tailgate party and Cornhole tournament before the Revs host the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m.
As part of the student-friendly $20 ticket, local college students can meet other area students at the pregame tailgate party, which will begin at 5 p.m. The party will include activities and games, including a Cornhole tournament, a giant Jenga set and soccer pong. Students will also have the opportunity to enter contests for Revolution prizes and enjoy complimentary food and beverages.
At 7:30 p.m., the party will move into the stadium as the Revs host the Crew in the teams' final meeting of the season.
Special activities planned for the night include:
Cornhole tournament, organized by Boston Cornhole* *Students interested in participating in the Cornhole tournament are encouraged to arrive early for sign-ups at 4:30 p.m. XBOX console, featuring the newly-released FIFA 2015 Life is good's é giant Jenga set Comcast SportsNet's instant photo printer Complimentary hamburgers and hotdogs, as well as soda and water A DJ from WBRU (Brown University student radio) Appearances by the RevGirls
Complimentary bus transportation will leave from Boston (Cityside Bar & Grill, 1960 Beacon St., Brighton, Mass.) and Providence (RiRa, 50 Exchange Terrace, Providence, R.I. ), with spots available for the first 100 students to sign up online.
Students are encouraged to wear school gear, as the Rev Girls will be looking for a few representatives from each college to take part in halftime activities on the field.
