FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - New England Revolution goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth's first-half save against the Columbus Crew on Saturday night is one of the five nominees for this week's MLS Save of the Week award. Shuttleworth's diving effort on Eric Gehrig's sharp header kept the teams level at 0-0 in the 30th minute.

With the game tied at 0-0 in the 30th minute, Crew midfielder Tony Tchani sent a deep, cross-field pass into the area for defender Eric Gehrig making a run down the right center channel. Gehrig maneuvered behind the Revs' defense and powerfully redirected the ball on target, forcing Shuttleworth to come off his line and make a diving leap to his right to make the stop.

Save of the Week voting is open now at MLSsoccer.com and will continue through Thursday evening.

Shuttleworth's 1.26 goals against average is currently ranked sixth in MLS, while his 12 wins and seven shutouts are both tied for third. On the season, Shuttleworth has made 75 saves, including one on a second-half penalty kick against the Crew's Federico Higuain on Saturday night.
