New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution's Under-18, Under-16, and Under-14 teams were all back in action this weekend, with each Academy team squaring off with FC Boston Bolts. The U-14s played on Saturday, May 14; while the U-18s and U-16s played on Sunday, May 15.
WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
U-14 midfielder Trevor Burns (Southborough, Mass.) recorded his first hat trick as a Revolution Academy player. Burns now has seven goals on the season.
U-14 forward Mike Balleani (Woburn, Mass.) scored his first two goals of the season in the form of a brace. Balleani has posted five assists on the year.
U-14 goalkeeper Connel O'Brien (Rochester, N.H.) posted his sixth shutout out the season, lowering his goals against average to 1.57.
U-16 goalkeeper Eddie Walsh (Westwood, Mass.) made his seventh shutout of the season, lowering his goals against average to 0.77.
U-18 forward Izaiah Jennings (Barrington, R.I.) tallied his fourth goal of the season. He has also notched two assists this season.
