San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes have teamed up with TCL, America's fastest growing TV brand and now, one of the founding partners for Avaya Stadium. As the cornerstone to the partnership, North America's largest outdoor bar will be known as the TCL 4K Bar and will feature the brand's 4K Roku TVs.
"Our stadium was built with the latest design and technology in mind, so we are proud to unveil the TCL 4K Bar showcasing their high quality 4K TVs," said Earthquakes President Dave Kaval. "Working with TCL was an easy decision for us. They're a great fit for the Earthquakes home, as well as our fans who are constantly seeking out ways to enjoy the games."
With the partnership, TCL is giving Earthquakes fans numerous opportunities to win free televisions or discounts on 4K Roku TVs at Earthquakes matches and events. At all Quakes home matches, any fan who retrieves and returns a ball kicked into the TCL 4K Bar area from the run of play will win a TV. In addition, the TCL 4K Bar will distribute 2,500 drink coasters at every match with each coaster containing a single minute of the game printed on it. Any fan possessing a coaster with the minute the Quakes score will receive a voucher for 50 percent off a television.
"TCL's Roku TVs are perfect for the ultimate soccer fan, bringing the matches to life with a stunning picture and easy access to popular soccer apps like MLS Live and FuboTV," said Chris Larson, vice president, sales and marketing, TCL. "Partnering with the Earthquakes furthers our commitment to sports and entertainment, and we're very excited to have TCL 4K Roku TVs be the centerpiece for North America's Largest Outdoor Bar."
The Earthquakes will kick off the partnership this Sunday, May 22, during the California Clásico watch party as part of Heineken Rivalry Week when the Quakes face the LA Galaxy at 4 p.m. PT. Fans will be able to participate in the coaster contest for the first time on Sunday, and all winners will receive a free TCL 4K Roku TV.
