Quebec, PQ - A goal with 34 seconds remaining in the third period by Max Gratchev (5th) lifted the Quebec Remparts to a 4 - 3 victory over the visiting Moncton Wildcats before 6,935 at the Colisee Pepsi on Saturday. Quebec led 1 - 0 after the first period and the teams were deadlock at 2 - 2 after 40 minutes. Maxime Lacroix (11th), Yan Ouimet (5th) and Marc-Edouard Vlasic (9th) completed the Remparts scoring summary. Ian Girard led the Wildcats with a pair of markers, his 13th and 14th of the season, while Adam Pineault scored his seventh goal of the campaign, on the powerplay. Nathan Welton, Oskars Bartulis, Andrew MacDonald and Brad Marchand added assists. Moncton outshot Quebec 29 - 26, including 13 - 8 in the second period and 9 - 8 in the third, while Quebec held a 10 - 7 advantage in the opening period. Cedrick Desjardins improved his record to 15 - 5, while Guillaume Blouin dropped to 8 - 5. Moncton was 1 for 7 on the powerplay, while Quebec went 0 for 6. The game's three stars were #1 - Alexander Radulov, #2 - Cedrick Desjardins and #3 - Ian Girard. Moncton completes its three games in three days road trip on Sunday in Rimouski, against the Oceanic before returning home to face the Lewiston MAINEiacs on Wednesday, November 30th at the Moncton Coliseum.
