Lewiston, ME - The Lewiston MAINEiacs lost to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan tonight by a score of 4-0. This loss breaks the MAINEiacs four game winning streak, two wins of which came from the Titan. Bathurst capitalized on the power play tonight scoring all four of it's goals while the MAINEiacs were a man down. The first and only goal of the first period was scored at 12:03 with a shot by Mathieu Roy. Scoring in the second for the Titan was Olivier Labelle at the 6:37 mark - sharing in the goal were Mathieu Roy and Billy Bezeau with the assists.
The Titan scored two more goals in the third the first by Thomas Beauregard and the second by Mathieu Curadeau. Although MAINEiacs netminder Jonathan Bernier takes a loss this evening, he earned third star with 48 saves.
