LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars have acquired forward Steven Agriogianis from the Central Illinois Flying Aces in exchange for a 2019 Phase II 8th Round Pick, the team announced this morning.

Agriogianis, 19, played 24 games with the Central Illinois Flying Aces, tallying two goals and nine assists for 11 points with four penalty minutes and two power play goals. The Florham Park, N.J., native played 53 games between three teams during the 2017-18 season, posting four goals and 14 assists for 18 points. The Penn State commit and 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward owns nine goals and 25 assists for 34 points through 90 career USHL games since the 2015-16 season. Agriogianis was drafted by the Chicago Steel in the 2015 USHL Phase II Draft following a stint with the U.S. National Team Development Program.

Agriogianis will report to the Stars this week prior to their final two preseason games this Friday and Saturday at The Ice Box.

The Stars open the 2018-19 home schedule on Friday, Oct. 5 at 7:05 p.m. against the Omaha Lancers.
