
Reign FC Acquires 2016 First and Third-Round Picks

Seattle Reign FC News Release
SEATTLE (August 6, 2015) - Seattle Reign FC announced today that the club has acquired a first-round and third-round draft pick in the 2016 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft from Portland Thorns FC. In exchange, Reign FC sent the rights to forward Lianne Sanderson and Seattle's 2016 first-round draft pick to Portland.
Prior to the trade with Portland, Reign FC acquired the rights to Sanderson from the Boston Breakers in exchange for Seattle's second-round draft pick in the 2016 NWSL Draft.
With the completion of these transactions Seattle Reign FC now has two first-round picks, two third-round picks, and a fourth-round pick in the 2016 College Draft.
