Reign Adds Goaltender Erickson to Line-Up

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced today that have received goaltender Beau Erickson in a trade from the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) for future considerations.

Erickson, 24, split the 2009-10 season between the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies, Reading Royals, and South Carolina Stingrays. In 17 games with Utah, Erickson posted a 5-7-3 record, a goals against average of 3.32 and a save percentage of .899. The goaltender, who hails from Hinton, Iowa, also appeared in one game with the AHL's Portland Pirates.

Don't miss the Reign's first home game of the season against the Stockton Thunder on Saturday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m, presented by San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino. All fans in attendance will receive a 2010 - 2011 magnet schedule, compliments of Shakey's Pizza. Cameron "the Crazy Fan" will be making an appearance at the game. He will be tossing out t-shirts and getting the crowd pumped. The first post-game player party of the season will be held at Boston's Restaurant (4th & Milliken location) immediately following the game.
