
Victoria first ECHL team to offer fans iPhone application

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that they have launched their brand-new iPhone application through the development efforts of SelfServeApps.com.
The Salmon Kings become the first ECHL team to launch an iPhone application, giving fans the chance to connect with the team right from their handheld device! The application is now available to download by searching "salmon kings" on your iTunes App Store, or by directly visiting http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/victoria-salmon-kings/id392549765?mt=8#.
"We are very pleased to be the first ECHL team to have designed and have approved an application for the iPhone," Assistant GM and Director of Media and Community Relations Jeff Harris said. "It was a great pleasure to work with Rick Bateman and his team at SelfServeApps.com. They did a fabulous job of working with our staff to create this application."
Developed by SelfServeApps.com, the Salmon Kings' iPhone application allows fans the opportunity to purchase tickets, check full home and away schedules and keep up-to-date on all the latest Salmon Kings news!
Fans will also be able to use the application to stay up to the minute on all Salmon Kings' fan page updates with access to the team's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube sites.
The Salmon Kings are in Las Vegas this weekend for a two-game series versus the Wranglers tonight and tomorrow, Saturday, October 23rd. To watch or listen live, visit www.salmonkings.com.
