Hillsboro Hops News Release
The Hillsboro Hops beat the Spokane Indians last night, and when Tri-City defeated the Eugene Emeralds later that evening, the Hops were left trailing Eugene by just one game in the Northwest League South Division.
Tonight, the Hops will look to take their third straight game of the series against the Spokane Indians, and climb closer to the division lead. Cody Reed will get the start for Hillsboro against Cole Wiper of Spokane. Wiper was a 10th round selection by the Texas Rangers in 2013 out of the University of Oregon.
First pitch tonight is at 5:03, a nod to the Portland-metro area code. Radio coverage starts at 4:30 on Rip City Radio 620 AM and at www.ripcityradio.com.
