RedHawks veteran R.A. Dickey won his third straight start as the RedHawks jumped out to a big early lead and held on to win 7-6 in the season finale Monday afternoon over Albuquerque at Isotopes Park.

Dickey, the franchise leader in most pitching categories and entering free agency this off-season, improved to 9-8 this year by pitching seven innings, allowing six hits and five runs (four earned). Albuquerque starter Adam Bostick (1-2) took the loss, allowing 10 hits and six runs (five earned) in four innings.

Oklahoma jumped out to a 4-0 lead through two innings and a 7-1 lead through its half of the fifth, but Albuquerque (70-72) came storming back to make the score 7-5 through eight. Erasmo Ramirez allowed two hits and a run in the ninth to make it a one-run game, but Ramirez earned his ninth save by coaxing Jason Stokes to fly out to end the game.

The RedHawks wind up second in the division at 74-70 on the year. Joaquin Arias paced a 16-hit Oklahoma offense by going 4-5 with one RBI. Victor Diaz and Adam Hyzdu chipped two RBIs apiece for the RedHawks, who end the season a league-best 34-19 in one-run games.
