FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, behind a four-run eighth-inning rally, swept the Kansas City T-Bones in front of 3,501 fans at Newman Outdoor Field on Sunday afternoon.

In the third inning T-Bones LF Damian Rolls hit a two-out double down the left-field line and scored on RF Greg Jacob's seeing-eye single to give the T-Bones a 1-0 lead.

With one out and men on the corners in the eighth inning RedHawks SS Zach Penprase scored the tying-run on a wild pitch by T-Bones reliever LHP Todd Moser. DH Mike Coles singled through the left-side to advance C Kole Zimmerman to third. Zimmerman scored on CF Nic Jackson's fielders choice to give the RedHawks a 2-1 lead. 3B Yurendell DeCaster hit an eighth-inning two-run big fly to give the RedHawks a three-run cushion.

A game-lasting pitcher's duel T-Bones ace LHP Luis Villareal reached the 100-pitch plateau by the fifth inning and left the game in favor of RHP Daniel Sattler in the sixth inning. Villareal went six strong with five strikeouts and four walks. RedHawks starter RHP Yosandy Ibanez went six strong giving up one run on six hits with four strikeouts.

RedHawks reliever Elvys Quezada pitched three innings for his first win of the season. T-Bones LHP Todd Moser suffers the loss.

The RedHawks have an off-day Monday and begin a three-game set with the first-place Winnipeg Goldeyes Tuesday June 16th.
