
RedHawks Sign Tescher; Bonfe to I.L.

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed INF Jordan Tescher and placed 1B Joe Bonfe on the Inactive List. The RedHawks open a four-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes tonight at Shaw Park in Winnipeg at 7:05 p.m.
Tescher, 23, completed his college career this spring at Dickinson State University (N.D.) where he earned NAIA First Team All-American honors. He batted .448, which was third in the nation, and led all NAIA players with a .891 slugging percentage. Tescher recorded 74 hits during his senior year, including 13 doubles, six triples, 16 home runs, 52 RBIs and nine stolen bases for the Blue Hawks.
Tescher, a Beach, N.D. native, began his college career at the University of Jamestown (N.D.) in 2012 before transferring to Dickinson State. He is making his professional debut tonight.
Bonfe ends the 2015 season batting .293 with 14 doubles, two triples, five home runs, 39 RBIs and 32 runs scored in 69 games.
