
Laredo Lemurs Sell Player Contract to Miami Marlins

Laredo, TX - The Laredo Lemurs have sold the contract of outfielder Eudy Pina to the Miami Marlins. Pina was scheduled to be play for the Lemurs but he had his contract bought out by the Marlins before he could put on a Laredo Lemurs uniform.
Pina is a former member of the New York Mets organization making it up to their Double-A affiliate in Binghamton, New York. In 67 games for the Binghamton Mets, Pina batted .305 with 2 home runs and 20 RBI's before getting released.
Pina has reported to the Marlins Double-A affiliate in Jacksonville, Florida to play for the Suns.
