Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks head home to open a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers at 7:05 p.m. Houston Astros pitcher Bud Norris will make a rehab start and is expected to throw 75-85 pitches.

Last Night-- Brett Wallace homered twice as the RedHawks finished their road trip with a 10-7 win over the Nashville Sounds. With the game tied 5-5 in the sixth, Wallace belted a two-run homer off Victor Garate (2-5) beyond the picnic area in right field to put the RedHawks in front for good. Later in the eighth, Wallace took the first pitch of the inning out to left-center field to extend the RedHawks lead to 10-7. The RedHawks shot out to an early lead, only to see it slip away. In the first inning, the RedHawks pounced for four runs, knocking Nashville starting pitcher Wily Peralta out of the game before the inning was over. The Sounds scored five unanswered runs, aided by a pair of homers by Logan Schafer. The RedHawks responded with three runs in the sixth, and added two more in the seventh on a two-run single by Brandon Barnes. Brett Oberholtzer (1-1) earned his first Triple-A win and Hector Ambriz earned his first save since joining the RedHawks.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Astros pitcher Bud Norris will make a rehab start tonight for the RedHawks...Norris has not seen game action since June 12, when he left his start in San Francisco with a sprained left knee... Despite missing some time, Norris leads the team in strikeouts and has struck out eight or more in a game five times, including a 12 strikeout game against St. Louis on June 3...During a four-game stretch in May, Norris went 4-0 with a 0.35 ERA (1 ER/26 IP) and struck out 29 hitters...While playing for Round Rock in 2009, Norris was named PCL Pitcher of the Year...Although he had a 4-9 record, he posted a 2.63 ERA...His one previous career start at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark occurred on June 26, 2009...Although he allowed only two runs and six hits over six innings, he was on the losing end of a 2-1 game...Omaha's Mike Montgomery has had an up-and-down 2012 campaign...Over half of his starts have been quality starts, but his ERA for the season stands at 4.79...The lefty has just one win over his last nine starts, although he did not have a losing decision until his ninth start of the season...Montogmery squared off against the RedHawks on May 5 in Omaha and did not figure in decision in a wild 10-9 Storm Chasers win in 10 innings...The RedHawks hit three home runs that night, but Montgomery has only allowed six home runs in his other 12 starts combined.

Road Trip Rewind-- The RedHawks went 5-6 on their 11-game road trip, splitting series in Round Rock and Nashville and dropping two of three in New Orleans. Although the pitching staff began the trip with a road ERA over six, they posted a respectable 4.42 ERA.

Offensive Ebb and Flow-- In the RedHawks' five wins on their road trip, they scored 48 runs (9.6 rpg). In their six losses, they scored just eight runs (1.3 rpg).

Close Calls-- Each of the six losses on the trip came by three runs or less. Five were by two runs or less, and three were by just a single run.

Trying to Start Another Streak-- The RedHawks have not won consecutive games since their nine-game winning streak was snapped on June 8. Each of their five previous wins since then have been proceeded by a loss.

Opening Statements-- The RedHawks have won nine of their last 10 series openers. In the one game they dropped during that span, they led with two outs in the ninth inning.

Walloping Wally-- Last night was Brett Wallace's fourth career multi-homer game. His last one occurred August 19, 2009 with Sacramento when, coincidentally, the River Cats were playing in Nashville. After combining to hit six home runs over 143 games between the RedHawks and Astros last season, Wallace has hit 14 total homers this season (RedHawks-12, Astros-2).

Super Snyder-- Although he drew two walks and also notched a sac fly, Brad Snyder went 0-for-2 to snap his hitting streak at 18 games--the best by a RedHawk this season and tied for fifth-longest in the PCL in 2012. During the streak he hit .388 (26x67) with two home runs and 10 RBIs. He is the only player in Triple-A with at least 10 homers and 10 stolen bases.

Solo Acts-- The RedHawks have allowed at least one home run in six straight games. However, each of the last eight homers they've surrendered have been solo shots.

Telling a Storey-- After having to make a couple of spot starts for the RedHawks, reliever Mickey Storey has allowed one run over his last 15.0 innings, with seven hits and 12 strikeouts. After giving up a solo home run to New Orleans' Nick Green on June 10, he has retired 21 of the last 22 hitters he's faced.

Against the Storm Chasers-- Tonight marks the first meeting in OKC between these two squads in 2012...The Storm Chasers swept a four-game set in Omaha, May 4-7, marking the only time the RedHawks have been swept this season...Twice the RedHawks trailed in the ninth inning only to tie the game or take the lead, but each time the Storm Chasers won with a walk-off homer...The ball was flying out of Werner Park that series, as each team hit seven homers...The Storm Chasers have won six straight games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
